MacBook : votre batterie va durer plus longtemps, mais attention !

Apple vient de mettre à disposition une mise à jour du firmware permettant l'amélioration des performances de vos batteries.

Mais attention : un programme d'échange de batteries concerne les MacBook et MacBook Pro. Si votre machine est concernée, la mise à jour proposée peut mettre votre batterie hors d'usage, le Mac Book ne la reconnaissant plus. Allez alors au centre Apple agréé le plus proche pour un échange immédiat. Voir la page d'Apple.

Apple just released a firmware update that is likely improve your MacBook and MacBook Pro battery performance.

Warning: MacBook and MacBook Pro battery program exchange. Your laptop may have a defaulting battery, if so, do not upgrade as your battery me be not longer recognized by your MacBook. Apple will exchange your battery for free, see Apple support page.

Download this 244kb firmware update. More details here

As stated above, I downloaded­,­ updated and failed!

My baterry was actually not longer recognized after the reboot process. [notme]

Tomorrow I ought to get to an Apple Store in order to exchange my baterry pack.

I'll keep you posted

Yep, I got to one Apple Maintenanc­e­ Center. The guys sais I had to leave my battery in order to be exchanged.
But I'll get a new one in 2 weeks, due to the numerous days off this month in France
